Richer is located 45 kms east of Winnipeg along the Trans-Canada Highway #1 East. Right beside the highway, Richer is readily accessible to highway traffic, thus making it a popular stop for truckers, tourists, cottagers and outdoor enthusiasts.
We are the gateway to the Eastern Manitoba Parklands. To the east are the Sandilands/Agassiz Forest Reserves, and beyond that is the Falcon Lake/West Hawk Lake Provincial Park. We are a stop on the way to the Kenora Lake Country. Richer also is the location of the Premier Peat Moss Plant, just across the highway from the Richer Inn.
